Caulfield Grammarians’ Association

Staying connected and supported beyond secondary education

The Caulfield Grammarians’ Association (CGA) has a long and proud history as one of the oldest past student associations in Australia, having served our alumni community since 1885.

All former students of Caulfield Grammar School naturally become lifelong members of the Association, which gives them access to various opportunities, including participation in sporting and cultural clubs, mentoring programs, career development initiatives, community events and reunions.

With a motto of ‘Wherever life takes you, you are never far away’, the CGA is a welcoming, active and supportive community that strives for excellence and seeks to positively influence the lives of our proud alumni.

Alumni Community

The CGA represents over 28,000 Caulfield Grammar alumni residing in more than 20 countries. Alumni range in age from 17 to 100 years, with an average age of 37.

This lifelong community bond extends far beyond graduation, supporting alumni through life’s milestones, challenges and achievements. Generational connections are a significant feature of the CGA, as many current students are the children or grandchildren of alumni. These links allow alumni to share cherished memories and help prepare future generations to face the world with curiosity, energy and optimism.

Purpose & Mission

The CGA’s mission is to inspire lifelong connections and cultivate an engaged alumni community. The Association’s activities are guided by a deep sense of pride in its alumni, the current student body, and the School’s ongoing growth and development.

By honouring its rich traditions and history while looking ahead to the future, the CGA actively seeks to enhance the lives of its alumni, inspire advocacy, strengthen generational connections, and support the advancement goals of the broader School community.
