Shelford Campus Opening in 2027

Caulfield Grammar School shared an exciting milestone in its School’s history with the official launch of Shelford Campus.

Through extensive consultation including employee workshops, engagement with global experts and market research that invited over 12,000 families to share their views, the School gathered valuable insights that helped it co-design a campus that reflected its vision for the future.

As a result, two key developments at Shelford Campus were announced:

A New Junior School – Opening 2027

• Launching with Years 4, 5 and 6, with plans for a full Prep–Year 6 offering in the future.
• Located just off Glen Eira Road in Caulfield, only 800m from the Secondary School at Caulfield Campus.
• Providing access to an outstanding Junior School learning program to more families in Glen Eira, Bayside and surrounding areas, and a seamless transition to Year 7 Caulfield Campus.

School Innovation and Learning Centre (SILC) – Opening 2025

A school-wide hub for innovation, SILC will be a dedicated precinct where educators and students from across the school will come to collaborate, design and engage in new learning programs such as:

• Future-focused Industry Experiences – Working with industry leaders and strategic partners including employment experts, HEX Education, and Sports’ Analytics company, Catapult Sports, SILC will offer curriculum-aligned incursions that provide students from all campuses with exposure to emerging career and future-skills opportunities, as well as academic excellence programs.
• Diverse Extracurricular Programs – Extending the school’s range of out-of-hours programs, commencing with offerings in STEAM fields, such as Technology in Sport, AI & Robotics and Cookery Masterclasses.
• Teacher Excellence Hub – Providing a dedicated space for collaboration, professional development, and educational research, supporting educators in refining their practice and shaping future learning.
