Over 255 guests from our community attended Caulfield Grammar School Foundation’s annual Business Breakfast last Thursday.
The event featured valuable insights from prominent business leaders within our community: Kelly O’Dwyer, Non-Executive Director and former Australian Government Cabinet Minister; David Neal, CEO of IFM Investors; and Adrian Redlich, Chief Investment Officer at Merricks Capital and Foundation President. They shared their expertise on navigating today’s complex investment landscape, addressing challenges such as populist governments, inflationary pressures, and the upcoming federal election.
The event began with an Acknowledgment to Country by Deakyn Smith, a past Foundation Scholarship recipient, followed by a moving testimonial video from another former scholarship recipient Ragavan Jenaddarasan and Fem Hunter, Director of the Rich Hart Foundation.
A special thank you to our event sponsor Merricks Capital, our MC Virginia Trioli and to the 255 guests whose generosity will fund two new Foundation Scholarships. This support will provide deserving students with access to a Caulfield Grammar School education, an opportunity they may not otherwise have had.
Over the past seven years, the incredible generosity of our community has transformed the lives of 45 students through our Foundation Scholarship program. These students, who come from Indigenous, refugee and regional backgrounds, have greatly enriched the diversity of our School community.
