Award Nominations for ‘The Addams Family’

HOT OFF THE PRESS!

We’re thrilled to announce that our Wheelers Hill Campus production of ‘The Addams Family’ has earned 7 Lyrebird Award nominations and a Judge’s Award in the Lyrebird Youth Awards.

Over 90 talented students, both on and off stage, worked tirelessly to bring this creepy and kooky show to life … and death! A huge congrats to the incredible cast, crew and staff for this amazing recognition of all their hard work. The Lyrebird Awards Ceremony, celebrating Performing Arts excellence across the Eastern suburbs, will be held at Bunjil Place on Sun 8 Dec.

• Judges Award: Caulfield Grammar School Wheelers Hill Campus for their modernized approach and creative interpretation of ‘Death Is Just Around the Corner’ during their production of The Addams Family.

• Best Ensemble in a Youth Musical – Ensemble

• Best Performer in a Lead Male Role – Nikolas Paraskevopoulos

• Best Solo Song (Pugsley, “What If”) & Highly Commended Performance – Grace Sketcher

• Best Acting Partnership – Nikolas Paraskevopoulos & Jessica Gribi

• Best Cameo Performer – “Thing” operated by Damien Quinlan

• Best Choreographer – Pete Tserbis & Courtney Reardon

• Best Costume Design – Pete Tserbis
