School Innovation & Learning
Centre Manager

We are pleased to welcome Damien Meunier to Caulfield Grammar School. Damien will commence in early May as our new School Innovation and Learning Centre (SILC) Manager, joining the School’s Teaching and Learning team.

Damien brings more than 20 years of experience in education, working across both the public and independent sectors in Australia and internationally. His leadership spans curriculum design, staff development, educational technology, STEAM education, sustainability initiatives and strategic partnerships with industry and community.

Most recently, Damien has led Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Haileybury, supporting teams across multiple campuses and advancing initiatives in computer science, entrepreneurship and academic extension. His leadership has earned national recognition. He received the Excellence Award for Innovation in Curriculum Design in 2022 and was named the Excellence Awardee for Department Head of the Year in 2021, both awarded by the Australian Educator Awards. He has also worked as a senior education consultant, leading large-scale change projects and contributing to school-wide transformation through digital learning, curriculum development and professional learning strategy.

In his role as SILC Manager, Damien will work across all campuses, contributing to the development of contemporary and future-focused learning experiences for both students and staff. He will also support specific initiatives at the Shelford Campus, helping to shape the innovation and learning culture in its foundation years.

Damien’s collaborative and strategic approach, combined with his deep understanding of teaching and learning, will be a great asset to our school community.
